Full-Stack Developer needed for aviation-based web project
Budget: $20 – $35 USD
For our aviation community platform, we need a full-stack developer proficient in both front-end and back-end development, with a strong understanding of responsive web design to ensure our platform is accessible on various devices.
Our platform's targets the three most important jobs in aviation being Pilot, Cabin Crew and Air Traffic Control. For our various target audience we feature articles which provide comprehensive articles covering all information you need if you want to work in any of those jobs. The articles are just basic static pages.
Secondly we feature a worldwide airline directory. This means we have created a database of every airline worldwide providing basic facts like Founding year, headquarter location, number of employees, current aircraft fleet and aircraft orders. Additionally we showcase salary details for pilot jobs.
The database is already filled with all data.
Last but not least we feature a job market for aviation professionals where airlines can post job listings. It's important to note that we don't process applications on our website, if a users wants to apply to the specific job they get redirected to the airlines recruitment portal.
Requirements:
This requires experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Vue for the front-end, and Python/Django, Ruby on Rails, or Node.js for the back-end.
Knowledge in database management systems like PostgreSQL or MySQL, along with API development, security measures, and authentication protocols, is critical.
The ability to work with Figma designs to translate them accurately into functional web pages is also essential. The developer should be capable of implementing a user system that allows for contributions, with an admin panel for moderation and verification processes, and creating job posting forms for verified recruiter profiles, including functionality for editing and displaying statistics on job listings.
