Full Stack Developer for B2B Platform
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
We are building a brand new enterprise platform that will be used by our customers to run the day-to-day workflow of their business.
The platform will consist of 6-8 products that will be built over the next 8-12 months. We will start off with building the first product, which is fairly straightforward and should take 3-4 weeks of building.
The technologies we are considering right now are: react, next.js, apollo graphql on the frontend and mongodb/postgresql, express and apollo graphql server on the backend.
We are a team of 3 engineers right now who are experts at building mobile apps. We are also hands-on with the backend but want to add one more person who can lead backend development and also possibly helps in building the frontend react app, if they have the skills and interest.
The ideal person for this role is someone who can:
- Brainstorm the tech stack with us, discuss pros and cons, do initial prototyping and determine what's the best match for our requirements
- Design the database schema to fit the first product but also considering the next set of products we will build right after
- Lead the charge on devops, this is an area with the most learning curve for the current team
- Has built projects from scratch and is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and build with momentum
- Work in a self-directed way and take pride and ownership of the work they do
- Comfortable with a decent amount of ambiguity initially and enjoys building and shipping iteratively
