Full-Stack Developer for Ongoing Work
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I maintain several live products that constantly evolve, so the work ranges from urgent bug fixes to brand-new feature builds. Most of the backend logic is written in Node.js and the primary web frontend runs on React, yet I occasionally touch other stacks when a legacy module or experimental idea calls for it. You will jump between tasks such as tightening API response times, extending database models (SQL and MongoDB), wiring up third-party REST or GraphQL integrations, and polishing UX details.
What makes this collaboration interesting is its variety: some days you will profile slow endpoints, other days you might design an admin dashboard or sketch out an automated deployment script for a new environment. If you also bring mobile or DevOps skills, there is plenty of room to put them to use, but they are a bonus rather than a prerequisite.
Deliverables at any point in the cycle typically include:
• A concise pull request with well-commented code and passing tests
• A short change log explaining the impact on existing features
• Clear next-step suggestions whenever you spot an architectural improvement
Because the codebase grows continuously, I value developers who can suggest smarter approaches instead of just following ticket descriptions verbatim. When you apply, focus on the depth of your experience—show me a couple of real problems you solved rather than a long list of links.
The team is fully remote and spread across multiple time zones, so as long as you communicate effectively and can overlap a few hours with me each weekday, location is flexible.
