What You’ll Do
Build, ship, and maintain production web features end-to-end (frontend, backend, basic DevOps).
Implement REST/GraphQL APIs, integrations (Stripe, OAuth, third-party APIs), and database schemas.
Translate Figma/wireframes into responsive, accessible UIs.
Write maintainable code with tests, PRs, and Git-based workflows.
Estimate work, hit milestones, and communicate risks early.
Document decisions, deployment steps, and handoff notes.
Join client standups/demos (as needed) and represent the agency professionally.
Our Typical Stack
Frontend: React / Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind
Backend: Node.js/Express or Python/FastAPI
Data: PostgreSQL, Prisma/SQLAlchemy, Redis
Infra/CI: Docker, GitHub Actions, AWS/GCP
CMS (sometimes): WordPress (custom themes/plugins), Statamic, Payload
Minimum Qualifications
Based in the United States with the ability to work as a 1099 contractor (W-9 required).
3+ years professional experience building production web apps.
Proficiency with React/Next.js, Node.js (or Python), and SQL/PostgreSQL.
Solid Git/GitHub workflow (branches, PRs, code reviews).
Experience integrating payments (Stripe) and third-party APIs.
Strong communication: can break down tasks, estimate, and report progress.
Availability for at least 3–4 hours overlap with US time zones (PST–EST).
Nice to Have
TypeScript expertise, SSR/ISR in Next.js
Testing: Jest/Playwright/PyTest
Basic DevOps: containers, CI/CD, cloud services (AWS/GCP)
SEO and web performance tuning
AI features (OpenAI API, embeddings/RAG) or data pipelines (dbt/Airflow)
WordPress custom development (Gutenberg, plugins)
