Job Title:
Full Stack Developer Needed to Complete Rideshare App (Supabase + Next.js + Tailwind + Google Maps + Stripe)
⸻
Description:
I’m looking for a skilled full stack developer or team to finish building a peer-to-peer rideshare bidding app. The current version is built with Supabase, Next.js, TailwindCSS, and Shadcn UI, and hosted on Lovable.dev. Core pages and UI components are already implemented — now I need someone to complete the core business logic and make the platform fully functional.
⸻
What’s Already Built:
• Supabase authentication for riders and drivers
• Responsive UI with user dashboards
• Google Maps UI (pending API key)
• Basic real-time notification setup
• Core pages: landing, pricing, FAQ, safety, dashboard tabs
• AI chat support using OpenAI API (working)
⸻
What Needs to Be Done:
Core Rideshare Logic:
• Implement ride request flow (request → match → in-progress → complete)
• Build bidding system where riders name their price and drivers can counter-offer or accept
• Add real-time ride tracking using GPS
• Build a matching algorithm to surface available drivers near the rider
Payments:
• Integrate Stripe for in-app payments and deposits
• Handle cash/off-platform ride tracking and platform fee logic
• Build driver earnings dashboard
• Implement platform commission logic with fallback for off-app rides
Safety & Verification:
• Create driver verification flow (upload MVR/background check)
• Add emergency alert button (SMS or in-app logic)
• Add trip sharing (share live ride status with contact)
• Optional: implement vehicle verification upload
Advanced Features (nice-to-have):
• Multi-stop rides
• Ratings and reviews system
• Scheduled ride booking
• Carbon impact calculator
⸻
Requirements:
• Proven experience with Supabase, Next.js, and Tailwind
• Experience with real-time apps, location-based services, and Stripe
• Able to work with current Lovable.dev project structure
• Clean, modular code and attention to detail
• Good communication, proactive with updates
Please read completely if it’s something you can do bid YOUR price and use the phrase “I can build that” so I know you read understand and can do the job
⸻
Bonus If You Have:
• Experience building ride-based, gig-based, or delivery apps
• Knowledge of geofencing or mapping APIs (Google Maps, Mapbox)
• UI/UX polish and mobile responsiveness skills
⸻
Deliverables:
• Fully functional MVP with working ride flows, payment logic, and verification system
• Admin view to manage user verification and disputes
• Clean code and documentation
• Ongoing support (optional, but preferred)
