Full-Stack Dev for Web App Migration

Job Title: Full-Stack Developer to Migrate Project from Firebase to Vercel/Render
Job Description:

I am looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer to help me finalize and deploy my web application, Jambo-Rafiki. After persistent issues with Firebase, I have decided to move away from the Firebase ecosystem entirely and migrate the project to a more streamlined hosting environment (preferably Vercel for the frontend and Render/Railway for the backend).

The code is currently hosted in a private GitHub repository and is organized into a client (Vite/React) and server (Node.js) structure.
Scope of Work:

Code Review: Quickly assess the current client and server folders to ensure they are ready for deployment.

Migration: Move the project away from Firebase Hosting.

Deployment: * Deploy the React frontend to Vercel or Netlify.

Deploy the Node.js backend to Render, Railway, or a similar service.

Database/Auth: If any Firebase-specific services (Firestore/Auth) are currently causing bottlenecks, suggest and implement a simpler alternative (e.g., MongoDB Atlas, Supabase, or PostgreSQL) or ensure the existing connection is finally stable.

Environment Variables: Correctly configure all .env variables for the new production environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience with React (Vite) and Node.js/Express.

Strong experience with GitHub workflows.

Expertise in deploying to Vercel, Render, or DigitalOcean.

Ability to troubleshoot existing "stuck" projects and provide a quick turnaround.

Clear communication (I need someone who can explain what was fixed).
