Senior Full-Stack Developer - Complete Restaurant Module & Finalize Platform Integration
Project Overview

We have an integrated booking platform combining three booking verticals into one system:

• Hotel booking (in progress - Laravel/PHP/MySQL)
• Sports stadium booking (in progress - Node.js/React/TypeScript/MongoDB, covering basketball, football, and other venues)
• Restaurant booking (in progress, currently unfinished - previous developer left the project)

All three developers were collaborating during development, so the three systems are already integrated at a basic level (shared architecture/APIs already in place). We're now hiring a senior developer to step in, finish the restaurant module, and take over the integration work to get all three systems working together cleanly.

Current State

• Hotel and stadium modules are actively being developed by their original two developers and are not yet complete.
• The restaurant module was partially built but the developer left the project - it needs to be picked up and finished.
• The three systems were already being integrated collaboratively, so the overall architecture and connections between them mostly exist. Remaining integration work is expected to be smaller in scope: fixing interface/API errors between modules and adding missing functionality, rather than designing integration from scratch.
• You'll be coordinating with the two other freelancers (hotel and stadium developers) who are still actively working on their parts.

Scope of Work

1. Restaurant Booking Module
• Review and take over the existing (incomplete) restaurant booking codebase.
• Finish remaining features (listings, availability, booking flow, confirmations, etc.).
• Fix any bugs or gaps left by the previous developer.
2. Cross-Platform Integration
• Review the existing integration between hotel, stadium, and restaurant systems.
• Fix interface and API errors between the three modules.
• Add any missing functionality needed for a smooth unified experience (shared accounts, unified search/booking/payments, etc., as needed).
• Continue coordinating with the hotel and stadium developers as their modules evolve.

What We're Looking For

• Comfortable picking up and working within an existing, partially-built codebase (not just building from scratch).
• Experience debugging and fixing API/interface issues between systems built on different stacks (PHP/Laravel and Node/React in particular).
• Ability to work with and review code/APIs built by other developers.
• Strong communication skills - you'll be coordinating with two other freelancers currently active on this project, and with us as non-technical founders.
Deliverables
• Completed and working restaurant booking module.
• Working, bug-fixed integration across all three systems (hotel, stadium, restaurant).
• Any additional functionality needed for a smooth unified booking experience.
