Full-Stack App Audit & Optimization

My web application is live, feature-complete, and in daily use, yet it still struggles with slow load times and an occasionally high server load. More worrying, recent code reviews have exposed vulnerable endpoints and gaps in malware protection.

I am looking for a seasoned full-stack developer who can step in, examine the entire stack, and bring it up to professional grade. The two priorities are clear:

• Performance optimisation – profile the app, pinpoint the biggest bottlenecks behind the sluggish pages and excessive resource usage, then refactor or redesign those areas so response times become consistently fast under load.
• Security hardening – probe every exposed endpoint, close vulnerabilities before they can be exploited, and implement robust, up-to-date malware protection across the codebase and server configuration.

You are free to use the performance and security tooling you trust most—whether that involves browser dev-tools, APM suites, load-testing frameworks, static analysis, or penetration-testing utilities—as long as the final result is measurable.

Deliverables
• A concise audit report highlighting the issues found, steps taken, and metrics before vs. after.
• Updated code, configuration files, and deployment scripts with performance and security fixes applied.
• A hand-off session (live call or recorded screen-share) walking me through the changes and future maintenance tips.
