Fence Company SaaS Tool

We are a fence company looking to develop a software as a service (SaaS) tool to streamline our operations and provide an innovative solution for other fence companies like us. We seek an experienced and talented full-stack developer to join our team and bring this tool to life. The ideal candidate should have expertise in web and mobile app development, integration with third-party services, and a strong understanding of the SaaS industry. This is a remote position with potential for ongoing collaboration.

Responsibilities:

-Collaborate with our team to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications
-Develop a user-friendly web-based tool for estimating, project management, CRM, customer management, scheduling, billing, and reporting
-Implement integrations with third-party services such as Google Calendar, QuickBooks, Angi Ads, and more
-Design and implement a satellite measuring tool and a linked measuring tool that can be used to generate an estimate after the fence style has been selected
-Ensure seamless user experience, responsiveness, and cross-platform compatibility
-Develop automation features for text, email, reminders, and task/event management
-Create a greet-to-close process that generates estimates, contracts, notifications, and material orders
-Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create visually appealing and intuitive interfaces
-Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization
-Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies

Requirements:

-Proven experience as a full-stack developer, ideally with expertise in web and mobile app development
-Strong proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js
-Experience in backend development with Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or Django
-Knowledge of database design and management, SQL, and NoSQL databases
-Demonstrated experience in API integrations and working with RESTful APIs
-Familiarity with mobile app development for iOS and Android using Swift, Objective-C, Java, or Kotlin
-Solid understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles
-Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and within a team
-Strong communication skills and fluency in English
-Experience working with the fence industry or related field is a plus
