We're looking for a software developer who is capable of conceptualizing and developing user-friendly website features using the latest applications, languages, and technologies. You’ll be asked to turn available end-user feedback into usable and responsive website features with the purpose of improving and enhancing the end-user experience.
This is a highly technical job with plenty of opportunities for growth within a fun, friendly, competitive yet supportive work environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Develop REST API endpoints for integration between client and back-end services.
Look at available end-user feedback and use the same to develop new features for the website via Angular front end and/or Node.js services
Deploy GitHub code to the cloud via Azure with emphasis on leveraging different Azure services
Develop high-quality extensible code free from code smell
Develop and refactor existing code base to increase readability and site performance
Participate in Agile-Scrum calls and brainstorm ideas during meetings for the purpose of bringing about the diversity of ideas and, ultimately, come up with new ways to improve all existing infrastructure
Work directly with top management (ie: CEO and Product Managers) for the purpose of enhancing existing features or to develop new features for Terkel
Observe coding discipline and closely coordinate and work with the tech team on GitHub to share tasks and to update the existing code
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or other relevant fields
Must be extremely familiar with full-stack software development, cloud development and deployment, creating and using REST endpoints, and working with SQL
Must have extensive experience with source code management using Git
Must be extremely familiar with web frameworks such as Angular, Node.js, Express, etc.
Must have extensive experience with styling using CSS, particularly the use of Bootstrap and Flexbox
Must be knowledgeable with Linux and basic Linux commands
Must be well-versed with good coding practices
Comfortable using and learning new skills and technologies
Must be well-versed with using open-source libraries and should be comfortable reading online documentation and other relevant information
Must have a knack for good UX/UI design
Familiar with Agile and Scrum environments
Positive attitude, high energy, and love for broadening his own web development skillset
Excellent time-management and organizational skills
Must be extremely tech-savvy
Must have strong communication skills
Ability to work within a team and independently
Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills
Must be familiar with tools like Asana, Postman, FileZilla/WinSCP, Azure, GitHub, and MySQL Workbench
IT and Hardware Essentials:
