Django Full-Stack Development Testing

I’m ready to move from planning into hands-on work and need a seasoned full-stack developer who is just as comfortable writing Python/Django code as they are validating it with solid automated tests.

The project is already scoped; models, endpoints, and UI behaviours are sketched out, but no production code exists yet. Your mission is to build the entire stack, then prove its reliability. You’ll create Django models, views, and REST endpoints, wire up the corresponding front-end (Django templates or your preferred lightweight JS framework), and back every feature with unit and integration tests.

I expect clean, idiomatic Python, adherence to Django best practices, and a testing mindset—pytest or Django’s built-in test runner is fine so long as coverage is high and the suite is easy to extend. Continuous integration (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar) should run the tests automatically and block bad builds.

Deliverables
• A functioning Django application covering the agreed feature set
• A comprehensive automated test suite with clear coverage reports
• CI/CD configuration that runs tests on every push and deploys tagged releases
• Brief setup & deployment documentation (readme level is fine)
