Budget: $5,000 – $10,000 USD
Job Title
Full Stack Web Developer (Front-End / Back-End) with UI/UX & Technical SEO Expertise – Website Redesign (End-to-End)
Project Overview
We are exploring the possibility of working with a highly skilled full stack web developer who can lead a complete website redesign from start to finish. This role requires strong expertise across front-end and back-end development, UI/UX design, site architecture, and technical SEO implementation.
Our website represents Decons Energy, and the goal is to modernize the site to improve usability, performance, engagement, brand recognition, trust, and long-term scalability. We are open to using WordPress as the CMS, provided the final build is highly customizable, performance-optimized, and not limited by rigid templates.
This is an opportunity to build a high-quality, scalable website with long-term growth in mind.
Key Goals & Objectives
Some of our primary goals include:
A modern website redesign with improved usability, performance, and user engagement
A clearer and more scalable structure for Decons Energy’s services, with flexibility to add new services over time
A dedicated blog/content section to support updates, thought leadership, and SEO growth
If using WordPress:
A highly customized WordPress build
A quality theme/template may be used as a foundation, but it must be significantly tailored (custom layouts, styling, components, and functionality)
Technical SEO implemented from the ground up, including:
Clean, semantic front-end code
Crawlability and proper indexing
Core Web Vitals optimization (LCP, CLS, INP)
Page speed and performance best practices
SEO-friendly site architecture
Basic backlink-readiness and SEO best practices (no spam tactics)
Strong emphasis on site reliability, security, and performance
Replacement of most existing stock (Shutterstock) imagery with our own original images, improving authenticity, brand trust, and recognition
Ongoing post-launch support, including:
Bug fixes
Performance monitoring
General maintenance and upkeep
Training or documentation, allowing us to confidently:
Access the WordPress backend
Make minor content updates or layout changes independently
Scope of Work
The selected freelancer will be responsible for:
End-to-end website redesign and development
Front-end development (responsive UI, modern design, accessibility best practices)
Back-end development (CMS setup, custom functionality, performance optimization)
UI/UX design collaboration or execution (wireframes, layout decisions, user flows)
Site architecture planning and implementation
Technical SEO setup and validation
Performance optimization and testing across devices and browsers
CMS configuration and customization (WordPress or alternative, if proposed)
Content structure setup (services, blog, future expansion)
Post-launch support and optional maintenance plan
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Full Stack Web Developer
Strong front-end skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript; modern frameworks a plus)
Strong back-end experience (WordPress, PHP, or comparable CMS/frameworks)
Demonstrated experience building custom WordPress sites beyond basic templates
Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and conversion-focused design
Hands-on experience with technical SEO implementation
Performance optimization experience (Core Web Vitals, caching, image optimization, clean code)
Experience launching production-ready, scalable websites
Ability to explain technical decisions clearly and collaborate effectively
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience in energy, power generation, construction, or industrial-related industries
Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG)
Experience setting up analytics, tracking, or SEO tools
Ongoing maintenance or retainer-based support availability
