Customizable Modular E-commerce Platform Development

Summary
We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer or team to build a custom e-commerce platform from scratch. The goal is to create a modular system, where individual features can be enabled or disabled based on the requirements of different clients. The platform must be scalable, secure, and easy to manage via a robust back-office.
Project Requirements:
1. Back-Office / Admin Panel
- Full management of products, categories, attributes, and images.
- Ability to import products from a stock management system via REST API.
- Manage multiple physical stores (currently 3) with configurable stock prioritization rules by region/district.
- Configuration of discounts and coupons, including codes, percentage/fixed discounts, and product/category-specific promotions.
- Multi-language support.
- View order history and invoices; automatic invoice generation and email delivery upon order completion.
2. Frontend / Online Store
- Product listing with filtering by category and attributes.
- Responsive design (UI will be provided in Figma).
- Checkout process supporting: MB Way, Reference MB, Credit Card, and Klarna.
- Multi-language support.
3. Payments & Integrations
- Payment providers are already contracted: IfthenPay for MB payments and Klarna.
- Integration with CTT / Correios de Portugal for shipping and automatic label/tracking generation.
4. Order Management & Reports
- Logic for multi-store order routing, based on customer location and stock availability.
- Daily reports of pending orders per store, configurable by the client.
5. Modular Architecture
- All features should be implemented as independent modules that can be activated or deactivated based on client requirements.
- Backend should be API-first to allow future frontend adaptations (web, mobile apps, etc.).
Additional Notes:
- Backend technology preference: Laravel (open to recommendations).
- Frontend: developed in-house from Figma designs.
- Platform must be secure, performant and ready for multi-store operation.

- Fully functional modular e-commerce platform.

- Integration with payment providers and shipping services.
- Documentation of setup, configuration and module activation.
