Custom Web Application System
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I run an IT company and need an experienced developer to take on a pure software-development assignment: building a web-based system from the ground up. The application will not be a simple e-commerce, CMS, or social network clone; instead, it is a bespoke internal “system” that will handle our business workflows end-to-end, so clean architecture, security, and scalability matter far more than front-end flash.
Here’s what I’m after:
• A full-stack web application that can be deployed to our cloud environment (AWS or Azure—happy to choose whichever you feel best suits the build).
• Modern stack—React, Vue, Angular, or similar on the front; Node, .NET, Django, or comparable framework on the back; a relational database such as PostgreSQL/MySQL or a well-structured NoSQL alternative if you justify it.
• Source-controlled code (Git), clear commit history, and concise developer-level documentation.
• CI/CD pipeline scripts or workflow files so we can push updates seamlessly after hand-over.
Acceptance criteria
1. Core modules match the functional brief I’ll share on kick-off (user auth, role-based permissions, data CRUD, reporting dashboard).
2. Unit and basic integration tests cover key routes and business logic.
3. The app deploys in one command and passes smoke tests on our staging server.
