Complete & Optimize WordPress Theme

My custom WordPress theme is already live, but several areas still need polish and new features. The codebase—PHP for core logic and JavaScript for dynamic blocks—has been set up with modern tooling and version control. I now want to move from “mostly-built” to production-ready while keeping momentum through daily collaboration.

Here is what I need from you:

• Finalise the half-finished features already in the repository, making sure they follow WordPress best practices.
• Refactor and clean the existing PHP, JavaScript, and SCSS so it is readable, modular, and easy to maintain.
• Build the remaining planned functionality; think new Gutenberg blocks, enhanced admin screens, and any extras we define together.
• Commit code and update tasks in the ticketing board each day so progress is transparent and easy to review. Jira, Trello, Asana—whichever system you’re fastest with is fine.

To be a good fit you should be comfortable working full-stack on WordPress themes or plugins, understand hooks, REST API endpoints, and modern front-end tooling, and be willing to suggest better ways of doing things when you spot them.

When you respond, please include links to two or three WordPress themes or plugins you have built or significantly extended, highlighting the parts you personally coded. That will help me gauge how quickly you can slot into this codebase.
