Commercial Real Estate Lookup and Analysis Platform
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
Title: Experienced Full-Stack Developer Needed for Commercial Real Estate Site Location & Owner Lookup Platform
Description:
I’m looking for a skilled full-stack developer (or small team) to build a web-based platform for commercial real estate professionals that combines:
Geographic site analysis (interactive map with search/draw tools)
Aggregation of traffic data, retail corridor activity, and property metrics via APIs
Filtering to exclude newer developments and national retailers, focusing on older/mom-and-pop retail properties
Ownership lookup with detailed contact info from public and proprietary data sources
Contact verification tools to send and track emails and SMS messages to property owners
Clean, user-friendly desktop-first UI with map and list views, property detail pages, and outreach history
Key Requirements:
Strong experience with React (or similar modern frontend frameworks)
Backend experience with Python (Flask/FastAPI) or Node.js (Express)
Expertise integrating multiple APIs (traffic, property data, ownership databases)
Experience with mapping libraries (Google Maps API, Leaflet.js, or Google Earth integration)
Ability to design and implement web scraping tools when APIs are not available
Database design skills (PostgreSQL with PostGIS preferred) for spatial queries
Experience building email/SMS verification and tracking workflows
Clean, modular, and well-documented code
Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively
Portfolio or examples of similar projects preferred
Additional Info:
I have paid subscriptions to CoStar, LandVision, Intellius, and Google Earth. While these are paid platforms, I am the sole user and can provide my login credentials for development and testing purposes. The developer will need to integrate or leverage these tools as part of the platform workflow.
I want the Site Location Analysis and Owner Lookup tools to be integrated within a single platform for a smooth workflow, allowing users to easily move between site evaluation and ownership/contact verification. However, it’s important that each tool can also function independently—there will be times when I already have a site identified and only need the Owner Lookup tool, or conversely, when I want to focus solely on site identification without ownership details.
The platform should support both combined and standalone use cases, providing flexibility depending on the user’s immediate needs.
Project Scope:
Build frontend UI per provided wireframe and UX specs
Develop backend APIs to aggregate, filter, and score candidate sites
Integrate ownership lookup and contact verification features, including working with the above paid platforms using provided credentials
Implement outreach tracking for emails and texts
Provide export functionality and user dashboard features
Deliver fully functional web app ready for deployment
To Apply:
Please provide:
Brief summary of your experience relevant to this project
Examples or links to similar apps or projects
Estimated timeline and availability
Your hourly rate or fixed price proposal
Bonus:
Experience with commercial real estate platforms or geospatial data is a plus.
