E-Commerce Checkout & Payment Fix
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
Our live e-commerce site is dropping sales because the checkout flow is breaking. I need a full-stack developer who can jump in right away, trace the root causes, and leave the store accepting payments smoothly again.
Here’s what has to happen:
• Diagnose and eliminate the errors on the checkout page, including cart totals (tax, shipping, discounts) and the final order placement step.
• Plug in a secure payment gateway—PayPal, Stripe, or Square—whichever you can wire up fastest and most reliably, then run end-to-end tests until every transaction clears.
• Make sure customers receive the proper confirmation emails once payment succeeds.
• Tune the checkout for speed and verify that it looks and works perfectly on both desktop and mobile screens.
• Conduct a full purchase-flow test from product page to confirmation, documenting fixes as you go so I can understand what changed.
Deliverable: a production site where a real purchase can be completed without errors, on any common browser or device. If you can knock this out quickly and cleanly, I have plenty more ongoing work ready for you.
