Build Secure Social Network Platform

I’m commissioning a full-stack web platform whose core purpose is social networking. The site must launch with the following feature set ready for production:

• User Profiles – editable avatars, bios, privacy controls
• Real-time Messaging System – one-to-one and group chats, instantly delivered with WebSockets or an equivalent push technology
• Activity Feed – scrollable timeline that aggregates posts, reactions, and system events
• SOS Module – quick one-tap emergency signal that broadcasts a user’s location and predefined message to trusted contacts inside the network
• Cases – a collaborative space where members open, discuss, and track specific issues or projects, each with status updates and file attachments
• Service Requests – structured forms that let users request help or expertise from the community and receive threaded responses

Security is a top priority, so two-factor authentication is mandatory across the entire platform. Please integrate either Time-based One-Time Passwords (TOTP) or a reputable SMS/email code solution and design the flow so it feels seamless on both desktop and mobile browsers.

A modern tech stack such as React or Vue on the front end and Node.js, Django, or Laravel on the back end is welcome—use whatever you’re most productive with, provided the final code is clean, well-documented, and easy for another developer to pick up. All major third-party libraries must be up-to-date and free of known vulnerabilities.

Deliverables will be accepted when:
• Each feature above is fully functional behind two-factor authentication
• The UI is responsive and passes basic accessibility checks
• Source code, database schema, and an installation guide are supplied in a private Git repository
• A brief video walkthrough demonstrates the main workflows from sign-up to SOS alert
