Web-Based Code Editor Development

I’m building a browser-first application and need a fully-functional code editor that lives entirely on the web. The editor must recognise and work smoothly with JavaScript, HTML/CSS and React JSX, offering real-time syntax highlighting, intelligent auto-completion and a one-click formatter so users can keep their code tidy without leaving the page.

You’re free to choose the underlying engine—Monaco, CodeMirror, Ace or a custom build—as long as the final result loads quickly, handles large files without lag and can be dropped into a modern React front-end. I’ll provide the surrounding UI; I simply need the editor module with clean, well-commented source, a short setup guide and any assets or configs (for example, Prettier rules) required to reproduce your demo.

• Brief documentation covering integration points and how to switch language modes
• A live or recorded demo showing syntax highlighting, auto-completion and formatting in action
