Upgrade Web3 Game & EVM Integration

Job ID: 40060734

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

Our playable browser-based game is live, yet the prototype code still feels like a prototype. I now want to move it toward a production-ready architecture while layering in genuine Ethereum functionality.

The core objective is performance optimisation: render speed, state updates, and chain interactions must all feel instant to the player. That means refactoring React components with cleaner patterns, trimming bundle size, and tightening any Node.js endpoints that feed the client. Both the front-end/UI and the small Node backend will be profiled and tuned, and we’ll also benchmark every call that touches the EVM to be sure gas costs and response times are sensible.

You’ll be working in a modern stack—React + Vite on the front end, a lightweight Express service on the back, and ethers.js / wagmi for wallet connectivity (MetaMask first, others later). Solid JavaScript skills are essential, React expertise is mandatory, and comfort inside a Node runtime will make your life easier. If you can already read, write, and unit-test smart contracts, I’ll happily give you deeper responsibility on the Web3 side; otherwise I have contracts prepared and mainly need you to wire them in.

Deliverables
• Refactored React codebase following clean component and hook patterns
• Tuned Node.js service with measurable performance gains
• Integrated EVM layer (wallet connect, contract calls, event handling) fully functional in the live build
• Short report outlining optimisation wins and next performance targets

I’ll provide repo access, current performance metrics, and a private testnet contract address. Milestones are flexible, but I’d like to see the first speed benchmarks within the first week. If sleek, fast, and on-chain appeals to you, let’s build.
