Simple Blog Website Development

I’m planning a straightforward website whose main function is to host a clean, easy-to-update blog. Because my target audience will view the site almost exclusively from desktop or laptop screens, I do not need a mobile-friendly layout at this stage.

Here’s what I’m after:

• A modern, visually appealing desktop design built with standard front-end tech (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript or a framework you prefer).
• A back-end or CMS that lets me publish, edit, and archive posts quickly—WordPress, Ghost, or a custom lightweight solution are all fine as long as the admin experience is intuitive.
• Basic SEO setup (titles, meta descriptions, clean URLs) so each article can be discovered easily.
• Fast loading times and clean code that I can extend later if I decide to add pages or features.

Once the site is live, I need a short hand-over session or concise documentation showing me how to create and manage posts. If any stock imagery or fonts are required, please confirm licensing upfront.
