React Rentals Management App
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
IMPORTANT!
Include examples of your react applications/websites in your cover letter.
I’m building a lightweight rentals platform and need a React-based single-page application that covers two core areas: property listing and booking management. No payment gateway is required at this stage.
Here’s what I need you to deliver:
• A clean, responsive UI designed from scratch. I don’t have wireframes, so you’ll handle basic information architecture, colour palette, and component layout before moving on to code.
• Property listing module where I can create, edit, hide, or delete rentals, upload photos, and set key details such as rate, location, and availability status.
• Booking management flow that lets guests select dates, submit a booking request, and lets me confirm or reject it from a simple dashboard. Availability should automatically block out accepted dates.
• Modern React stack (functional components, hooks, and any state solution you prefer—Context, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, etc.) with clean, commented code I can extend later.
• Basic JSON or lightweight backend mock (e.g., Firebase, Supabase, or simple Express API) just to persist data during demos; I’ll wire it to my final backend later.
• Clear README covering setup, build, and deployment steps.
Acceptance criteria: UI matches the approved mock-up, list and booking flows work end-to-end without console errors, and source compiles with `npm run build`.
I’m flexible on exact libraries as long as the final bundle stays lean. Let me know your approach and an estimated timeline so we can get started.
