React ATS Frontend Interface Build

Our Applicant Tracking System already has a fully-functional backend; what’s missing is a clean, responsive React interface that lets the team finally start using it day-to-day. I need a frontend engineer who can move quickly while still keeping the codebase neat, modular, and aligned with best practices (typescript, clear folder structure, sensible state management, meaningful tests, well-written docs).

Scope
• Web-based interface built in React—feel free to bring in Next.js, Vite, Tailwind, or similar if they speed you up and keep things organized.
• Core sections:
– Dashboard with high-level analytics.
– Company management (departments, hiring teams, permissions).
– Candidate management and job application flows (create, track, advance, reject).
– Solid user authentication/authorization tying into the existing API.
• I’m open to you using AI coding assistants as long as every commit is reviewed and the final output is production-ready.
• All APIs, endpoints, and data contracts are already documented; you’ll consume them and surface the data with an intuitive UX.

Deliverables
1. Complete React codebase, lint-clean and fully typed.
2. Component-level and integration tests covering critical flows.
3. Brief README outlining project setup, build commands, and deployment steps.
4. Short loom/walkthrough video demonstrating each feature working against the live backend.

Acceptance Criteria
• Pages load sub-second on modern browsers, fully responsive down to 360 px.
• No console errors, failing tests, or unused dependencies.
• Every feature listed above reachable within three clicks from the dashboard.
• PR merged without major requested changes.
