Investment Platform Homepage Speed Optimization

I need a frontend developer who is comfortable dipping into backend code and build-automation scripts to make my investment platform’s homepage load much faster. The single goal is performance improvement, and the yardstick is Google PageSpeed Insights. Right now the score is lagging; I want you to analyse the bundle size, critical rendering path, and any API calls that might be slowing the first meaningful paint, then refactor, lazy-load, or cache as needed until the desktop and mobile scores are consistently in the green.

The stack is React with a lightweight Node/Express layer that handles initial data hydration, so familiarity with both is important. If you prefer complementary tools such as GTmetrix or Pingdom during your workflow that’s fine, but the final numbers that matter are the ones Google PageSpeed Insights reports.

Deliverables
• Revised homepage code (React + any supporting Node files) committed to my Git repo
• Before/after PageSpeed Insights reports showing the improvement
• A short read-me outlining the optimisations and any automation tasks or scripts you added

Once these items are in place and verified, I’ll merge to production.
