Innovative Social Platform Needs Front-End Developer

Front-End Developer Wanted (Fixed Project – Paid Work)

We are a startup in the early stages of building an innovative social connection platform designed to help students meet, match, and connect in real life through shared interests and goals.
We’re looking for a front-end developer to help design and develop the user interface of our MVP. This is a fixed-scope, paid project with potential for future collaboration.

Your Role
You will work closely with the founder to:
- Translate wireframes and platform vision into a working front-end
- Create a responsive and intuitive UI (web or mobile-first, depending on scope)
- Build layouts, components, and flows (e.g., onboarding, personality test, event matching, profile pages, dashboard/calendar)
- Collaborate to ensure the design is user-friendly and scalable


Requirements
- Strong experience with front-end technologies (React.js preferred, or similar)
- Familiar with TailwindCSS, HTML5, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience creating layouts from scratch (not just editing templates)
- Comfortable working independently and delivering on time
- Good communication and ability to take feedback

Bonus: Based in Oslo or available for occasional in-person meetings

Payment
This is a fixed-price contract, where we agree on a clear scope and timeline upfront. Payment will be made per milestone or at completion.
