Houzez Theme Coding Customization

I’m running a real-estate site on WordPress with the Houzez theme and need code-level adjustments that cover both UI/design and functionality. The main goal is to add new Property Detail fields (think “Property Features") different layout and have them behave exactly like native Houzez data.

What has to happen
• Extra fields must appear in the back-end and front-end property submission forms, save correctly, and display on the single-property page with styling that blends seamlessly with the existing layout.
• All changes need to live in a child theme (or a self-contained plugin), using Houzez hooks, filters, and template overrides so updates remain safe.
• Wherever possible, the new data should also be queryable in the built-in Houzez search filter.
• Any CSS or PHP edits must keep the theme’s responsiveness and performance intact.

Deliverables
1. Child theme or custom plugin containing the additional property fields, meta boxes, sanitization, and save logic.
2. Updated submission form and single-property template that surface the new fields.
3. Working integration of the fields into the theme’s search/filter functionality when feasible.
4. A concise README explaining file locations and custom code for easy maintenance.
