Home Assistant Custom Dashboard Build
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I need a brand-new, fully customised dashboard built for my Home Assistant instance. The goal is simply to create a custom dashboard from scratch, not just tweak an existing view. I want it organised into multiple pages, each populated with the right mix of cards so day-to-day monitoring and control feel intuitive rather than cluttered.
For content, I’ll need:
• Sensor readings cards for temperature, humidity, energy, presence, and any other entities you feel should surface at a glance.
• Control buttons to toggle lights, switches, scenes or automations directly from the dashboard.
• Graphs and charts that let me explore trends or compare entities over time.
Structure & aesthetics matter. Please group related functions logically (e.g., climate, security, media) and keep the design visually consistent with the latest Home Assistant frontend capabilities (Lovelace, custom-card support, themes). Where possible, leverage modern card types such as the mushroom suite, ApexCharts, and built-in glance/statistics cards—but I’m open to your suggestions if a plugin does the job better.
Deliverable
1. YAML (or UI-based export) for every page and card you create, fully commented so I can tweak later.
2. Any custom card resources and installation steps, clearly referenced.
3. A brief walkthrough (screencast or annotated screenshots) showing how to import the dashboard and where key customizations are located.
4. Also should be permanent; after updating Home Assistant, it should not effect
Acceptance criteria
• Dashboard imports cleanly with no red errors or missing resources.
• All sensors and controls function as expected on first load.
• Graphs update live and reflect the historical data available in my database.
• Layout is mobile-friendly without breaking desktop readability.
If you have prior examples of Home Assistant dashboards—or repositories with your Lovelace work—please share them so I can gauge style fit.
