Frontend Developer for Website Clone
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
Project Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled frontend developer/freelancer to create a deep, functional clone of a leading online printing and branding platform's frontend. This includes not just replicating the visual layout and UX but also scraping and structuring live product data, including categories, subcategories, product variations, descriptions, pricing structures, and customization options.
The final deliverable should be a responsive, modular, and scalable frontend codebase, fully replicating the depth and interactivity of the reference site, with placeholder integrations for backend and design studio functionalities.
Scope of Work:
1. Frontend Layout Clone:
Replicate the full UI/UX of the homepage, inner pages, and product flows.
Must include:
Header, footer, top navigation
Product category pages
Service pages
Offer banners and promotional sections
Ensure responsiveness for desktop, tablet, and mobile views.
Use modern UI/UX best practices and ensure pixel-perfect fidelity.
All hover states, transitions, and modal behaviors must match the reference site.
2. Deep Product Catalog Clone with Data Scraping:
Scrape and clone the complete product catalog, including:
All main categories (e.g., business cards, packaging, promotional items)
Subcategories and sub-product hierarchies
Product variations (size, material, quantity, sides, finishing options, etc.)
Price matrix for each variant combination
Estimated delivery dates and tiered pricing (where applicable)
Scrape and organize:
Product titles
Descriptions and tooltips
Thumbnail and preview images
Templates/examples where available
All product data should be structured (preferably JSON or Airtable-compatible) for easy future backend integration.
3. Customization & Design Tool Interface (Placeholder Version):
Develop basic layout for a custom design tool interface:
Placeholder for image uploads, text entry, template browsing
Product preview section
This will not include full design functionality yet but must mirror the reference UI and be modular for future enhancements.
4. E-commerce Functionality (Frontend Only):
Clone and implement:
Product detail pages with selection flows (drop-downs, swatches, quantity inputs)
Add-to-cart functionality
Cart page with editable items and calculated pricing
Simplified checkout flow (form-based, without payment gateway integration)
Estimated delivery timelines and shipping fee placeholders should be displayed based on scraped data logic.
5. Navigation and Search:
Build advanced navigation, replicating:
Mega-menus with categories and subcategories
Category-specific quick links or icons
Functional search bar with filters for product name, category, and customization options
6. Performance Optimization:
Lightweight and SEO-friendly code
Implement lazy loading for images
Minimize load times with code-splitting and efficient asset management
Semantic HTML for crawlability
7. Design & Branding Adaptation:
Clone layout, structure, and UX patterns from the reference site
Replace all branding elements (logos, colors, fonts, images) with our custom brand placeholders
Technical Requirements:
Strong preference for modern JS frameworks: React, Vue.js, or Angular
Fully responsive layout tested on major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
Codebase must be clean, well-commented, and version-controlled (Git)
Final delivery includes:
Full frontend code
All scraped product data in structured format (JSON, CSV, Airtable, or as agreed)
Setup instructions and documentation for handoff
Timeline & Milestones:
Project Duration: To be proposed by applicant
Must include defined phases:
Layout & UX Draft
Product Catalog Completion (Scraping & Structuring)
Cart & Checkout Flow Implementation
Final Testing & Handover
Skills Required:
1. Proficiency in frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)
2.Experience with React/Vue/Angular
Expertise in data scraping from dynamic websites (using Puppeteer, Playwright, or similar tools)
Understanding of e-commerce user flows
Pixel-perfect design implementation
Ability to structure scraped data cleanly and efficiently
How to Apply:
Please DM with the following:
Portfolio showcasing relevant projects (especially clones or e-commerce builds)
Brief approach for this task, especially for data scraping and organizing structured product details
Your earliest availability and time required to deliver the full project
Tools or frameworks you intend to use
