About the Role

We are looking for a developer who can take completed UX/UI designs (Figma) and translate them into a clean, scalable, and high-quality frontend experience. The backend services and APIs are already in place, so the primary focus of this role is building and refining the user interface while ensuring seamless integration with the backend systems.

You will collaborate closely with the existing engineering team to ensure the frontend is implemented with strong architecture, consistency, and performance. The role will also involve reviewing and improving frontend code previously written by another developer, ensuring it meets high standards for maintainability and scalability.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys building polished user interfaces, improving existing codebases, and working in a fast-moving startup environment where ownership and initiative are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

Implement the full frontend experience based on finalized Figma designs

Translate design systems into clean, reusable, and scalable UI components

Review, debug, and refactor existing frontend code to improve structure, consistency, and maintainability

Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless functionality

Ensure responsive performance across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices

Optimize UI performance and load times for a smooth user experience

Maintain well-structured, documented, and reusable code

Contribute to architectural decisions as the platform continues to scale

What We’re Looking For

Strong proficiency with modern frontend frameworks and development practices

Experience building production-grade user interfaces and integrating them with backend APIs

Ability to identify UI/UX inconsistencies and resolve code quality issues

Experience refactoring or improving existing frontend codebases

Comfort working in a startup environment where speed, ownership, and adaptability are important

Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with designers, engineers, and product leaders
