Front-end Developer (Remote-based anywhere globally)
Budget: €15 – €30 EUR
Responsibilities:
Develop features and make improvements to Evo products in a stable, well-tested, and responsive way
Work with Product Managers and other stakeholders (Backend, UX, etc.) to iterate new features within Evo's web-facing products
Create code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for an upscale web environment
Meet and advocate for these standards through regular code review
Consistently independently ship small features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members while collaborating with the team on larger projects.
Help improve the overall experience of our product by improving the quality of Front-end features both for the benefit of your team and others
Help identify areas for improvement in the code base, both specific to your team and outside your group (eg. component library), and then contribute to suggested improvements
Learn, collaborate and teach other Front-end Developers; everyone can contribute something new to Evo regardless of how long they’ve been with the company
Resolve issues in tickets in accordance with their attached severity and priority labels
Follow our workflow process, alongside the rest of the developers and the Evo Family as a whole
Required Skills:
Professional experience with VueJS (or professional experience with another modern JavaScript web framework, like Angular and React, alongside some experience with VueJS)
Experience writing automated e2e tests (eg. Playwright, Selenium, etc.)
Experience using Docker to build, test and deploy applications
Experience using Git in a professional environment
Solid understanding of core web and browser concepts (eg. how the browser parses and constructs a web page)
Solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts
Proficiency in both written and verbal English, as required for success in a global and largely asynchronous work environment
Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate on complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough, iterative solutions
Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent such problems
Comfort working in a highly agile, iterative software development process
Drive to onboard and integrate with an organization long-term
Positive and solution-oriented mindset
Effective communication skills that allow you to regularly achieve consensus with teammates and provide clear status updates
Self-motivated mindset with the ability to work independently
Great organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to work closely with teammates and other stakeholders

Working knowledge of PHP deployed on a LAMP stack
