Front-End Developer for Custom Site
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I’m building a fully custom website and need a front-end specialist who can turn clear requirements into a fast, responsive user experience. All pages must be crafted with clean, well-commented HTML5, modern CSS (Flexbox/Grid), and vanilla JavaScript or a lightweight framework if it speeds development without bloating load-times.
Your code should:
• Match supplied mock-ups exactly, adapting gracefully to mobile, tablet, and desktop breakpoints
• Follow accessibility best practices (ARIA labels, keyboard navigation, readable contrast)
• Be organised in reusable components and SCSS modules so future updates are simple
• Load quickly through asset optimisation and lazy loading where sensible
• Work consistently across the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge
Deliverables I expect:
1. Fully functioning front-end codebase packaged for hand-off (HTML/CSS/JS plus any build files)
2. Brief build/installation notes so another developer can run the project locally in one step
3. A short walkthrough video or call demonstrating key interactions and confirming responsiveness on at least three viewport sizes
I’ll review progress in small milestones and give prompt feedback so we can keep momentum. If you enjoy pixel-perfect builds and care about performance, I look forward to seeing your portfolio and hearing how you’d approach this project.
