Hi! I’m an applied arts student working on my premaster project, and I’m looking for a frontend developer to help bring a design-driven cultural platform to life.

The website is a curated digital archive featuring 63 artists in diaspora. It functions as an interactive library where users can explore artist profiles, view artworks, and navigate through themes and tags.

This is a visually rich project, so attention to detail and the ability to translate designs accurately into a clean, responsive interface is essential.

Scope of Work:

Develop the frontend of the website based on provided designs (Figma)
Build an interactive artist archive (profiles, artworks, categorization)
Implement filtering/search by themes and tags
Create a digital reading experience for the project book
Design and implement a manifesto page
Develop an “About Us” page
Ensure full responsiveness (desktop + mobile)
Implement smooth interactions and transitions

Project Nature:
This is a research-based, design-heavy cultural project focused on identity, diaspora, and artistic expression. The website should feel immersive, structured, and easy to navigate despite the amount of content.

Requirements:

Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Experience with modern frameworks (React / Next.js preferred)
Ability to closely follow design layouts and typography
Experience with interactive or content-heavy websites
Good communication and willingness to iterate
