Shopify Front & Backend Cleanup
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I run Zero Disaster Australia, a small emergency-preparedness store on Shopify, and I need another set of experienced hands to get the site into fighting shape.
Front end
• Tidy up the overall design so pages look crisp and consistent across desktop and mobile.
• Streamline the navigation so visitors can find products, resources and contact details in one or two clicks.
• While you work, leave space for a growing catalogue—I’ll be adding several new survival and first-aid items soon.
Back end
• Optimise the database; load times have crept up and the product admin panel feels sluggish.
• Refactor or remove messy theme code and any redundant snippets or scripts created during past experiments.
What I’m looking for
Clear, concise communication in English is essential. A military or first-responder background would be a bonus because you’ll instinctively understand the product line, but solid Shopify expertise matters most. Please briefly outline similar clean-up projects you’ve handled and the tools or methods you prefer (Liquid, Theme 2.0, Shopify CLI, etc.).
Deliverables
1. Updated live theme with polished layout and improved menu flow.
2. Documented back-end optimisation steps and a short summary of code changes.
3. Quick Loom or screenshot walkthrough so I can maintain the improvements after hand-off.
I’m ready to start as soon as we agree on scope and timeline—let’s tighten this site up and get more life-saving gear in front of the people who need it.
