Beginner French Tutor for Academics

I’m looking for a patient French tutor who can guide a complete beginner toward academic-level competence. My primary focus is building a solid foundation that supports future coursework, so each session should target the fundamentals of grammar, vocabulary, and clear pronunciation.

Here’s what I need:
• A short diagnostic in our first meeting to map my baseline and academic goals.
• A simple lesson roadmap with weekly objectives, exercises, and brief progress checks.
• Live one-on-one sessions delivered online (video preferred) where we practice targeted drills and short academic readings.
• Light homework—brief writing or speaking tasks I can realistically complete between lessons.
• Periodic feedback on mistakes and tips for self-study tools or reputable resources.

Consistency matters more than speed; I’d like to start with modest, regular sessions and adjust frequency as my grasp improves. If you have experience preparing students for academic settings, especially beginners, I’d love to hear how you structure lessons and track progress.
