Beginner French Conversation Tutor

I want to focus exclusively on speaking and listening so I can start holding simple conversations in French. My current level is complete beginner—I recognise a few words but cannot yet form sentences confidently.

I’m looking for a patient native or near-native speaker who can guide me through short, regular video or audio sessions. The emphasis should be on practical pronunciation, everyday vocabulary, and the rhythm of natural dialogue rather than formal grammar drills.

Please tell me how you normally structure conversation practice for absolute beginners and what tools you like to use (Zoom, Skype, Google Meet, interactive whiteboards, shared docs, etc.). If you have sample lesson outlines, recordings, or success stories that show a student’s progress in spoken French, feel free to link them so I can get a sense of your style.

Deliverables
• A clear session plan outlining topics and expected speaking outcomes for the first four lessons
• Live conversation sessions scheduled at mutually convenient times (preferably evenings CET)
• Brief recap notes after each meeting, highlighting new phrases and pronunciation tips
