Job Description:

We are an established start-up translation company based in the UAE, offering services in multiple languages including English, Arabic, French, Spanish, German, Indian, Filipino, Chinese, Japanese, and Russian. As we prepare for our official launch in three months, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Translators to join our team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment of Translators:
- Identify and hire top-tier freelance translators proficient in our offered languages.

2. Management of Translators:
- Oversee the daily operations and activities of our team of translators.
- Ensure timely and efficient completion of translation projects.

3. Proofreading and Quality Control:
- Proofread transcriptions and translations to ensure top-notch quality.
- Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards.

Requirements:

- Native Arabic speaker.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in French is a plus.
- Proven experience in translation and transcription services.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.

Compensation:

- $1,000 per month for a 40-hour workweek during the first six months of the probation period.
- Budget reconsideration and potential salary increase after the probation period based on performance.
