Requirement:
Native French speaker with knowledge of grammar and colloquial speech, plus very strong English language skills, required for a video translation project in October / November 2022.
Scope:
To take the English language scripts already documented, plus any on-screen captions, and to provide a text translation into French, of the English content. Approx 35 videos are to be translated from English into French - scripts are already documented in English. Videos are typically 2 - 3 minutes in duration, some up to 5 minutes.
Approx 50% of the videos (animations) will require recording of a voice-over in French, to align with the timing of the English commentary / dialogue. Voice over skills will be an advantage and will be part of this project for recording the translated audio.
Approx 50% of the videos are 'role play' with local people acting out the script - for these we plan to use subtitles and leave the English dialogue in place. RGC will share the English video versions for the purposes of aligning the French
