2. Requirements Gathering
Work with development team to define functional and technical requirements for the Freight Audit and Payment
system for US clients.
Document business rules for auditing, invoice validation, payment processing, and exception handling.
3. Solution Design
Design workflows for parcel and freight invoice intake, validation logic, approvals, and payment release.
Specify system integration points with ERP, TMS, and carrier portals.
Define exception handling, audit thresholds, and escalation paths.
4. Testing and Quality Assurance
Develop and execute test cases for invoice processing, error handling, reporting, and workflows.
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate system output against business rules.
5. Post-Go-Live Support
Monitor initial performance of the system, resolve bugs, and gather user feedback.
Analyze early outputs (e.g., error rates, savings captured, time to payment) to validate system effectiveness.
