API Developer -- 2

Transland has an immediate project opening for a software developer. This position is part of a special project at least through the end of 2022 but could lead to a permanent position. The work would support the team that is rolling out a new aerial GPS product and an API needs to be developed to interface this product with an external service.

Technology Knowledge and Skill Sets

• C# .NET Framework (Visual Studio – 2019 - latest version)
o Object Oriented Programming
o Understanding of Entity Framework Concept (EF 6)
o ASP .NET MVC Web development
o Web API Concept…
o WPF development skill
o PRISM Framework concept (not require but a plus)
o Basic window scripting (not require but a plus)
o Low level Embedded programming and parsing (not require but a BIG plus)

• MS SQL Server (2015 - Latest version)
o Navigate in SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio)
o Basic T-SQL Query and Commands
o Basic understanding RDBMS (Relation Database Management System)

• IIS 10.0 and IIS Express (Internet Information System)
o Basic understanding of IIS
o Publish and Update
o SSL (Secure Socket Layer) Setup (this is a plus)

• AZURE CLOUD SERVICE (not required but a plus)
o Blob Storage
o App service

Below skill sets will be a big PLUS into working with the external partner’s API and technology directly…

• Open ID Connect (https://openid.net/connect/)
o Ability to work with 3rd Party to implement a push/pull concept within their API layer
o Understand the ins and outs of the platform to standing up services from the ground up.
o Knowledge of API calls and ability to integrate with our current API architecture.
o Understand the security requirement for access APIs
