Hello everyone, I am Raksha K S & I represent ARTPARK (AI & Robotics Technology Park), I-Hub for Robotics and Autonomous Systems Innovation Foundation, a not-for-profit foundation promoted by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.
About Project:
The project aims to capture the multilingual speech diversity in India, with the main purpose to develop a national digital public platform for languages to provide universal access to content, i.e., boost the delivery of digital content in all Indic languages.
The nation-wide open-source speech data repository can help in the preservation of indigenous languages. This effort can open up access to technology for all.
Job Description:
We are looking for local language speakers who could help us verify if audio files are actually from a particular district and answer questions related to the audio.
Work Hours:
The task would require at least 2 - 3 hours of effort on days when the speech data will be allotted to the individual, in order to complete it within the pre-discussed timeline.
Payment:
The remuneration for the project is INR 350 per 500 audio files submitted.
Requirements:
• We are looking for freelancers who are fluent in their native district language.
• The freelancer should have lived for more than 6 years in a particular districts mentioned below.
