Opportunity for Arab or Jordanian Freelancer!
We are offering competitive rates for talented and experienced Arab or Jordanian freelancers who are fluent in both Arabic and English and actively working on platforms like Freelancer.com. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a meaningful project aimed at helping young Jordanians succeed on these platforms.
As a mentor, you will guide aspiring freelancers through every step of their journey—starting from creating and optimizing their profiles to learning how to secure projects and effectively manage client relationships. Learning sessions are gender-segregated so that everyone can feel comfortable asking the necessary questions they need to learn and succeed on Freelancer. Your knowledge and personal experience will play a vital role in helping others navigate the challenges of freelancing and ultimately achieve success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead gender-segregated sessions focused on building strong freelance profiles, attracting clients, and securing projects. [We will provide this material]
- Provide practical advice on crafting winning proposals, setting competitive rates, and managing client relationships. [We will provide this material]
- Share your personal freelancing strategies and success stories to inspire others.
- Offer tailored feedback to help participants refine their freelancing skills and grow their businesses.
-Overall, we require your availability for approximately 20 hours over a 4 week period.
Sessions: Most session will take place online, but there is at least one on-site session in each of the three major regions of Jordan:
- Amman
- Irbid
- Zarqa
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an active freelancer on Freelancer.com.
- Strong proficiency in both Arabic and English, with excellent communication skills.
- A passion for mentoring and helping others thrive in the freelancing world.
- In-depth knowledge of profile optimization, client communication, and project bidding.
To be successful as a top freelancer on Freelancer.com, the following criteria are key:
- Profile Quality: A complete and professional profile with an impressive portfolio and clear, concise bio.
- Job Success Score (JSS): A high JSS demonstrates reliability and client satisfaction.
- Consistency & Engagement: Regularly applying for jobs, delivering work on time, and staying active on the platform.
- Client Satisfaction: Positive reviews, repeat clients, and strong communication skills.
- Skills & Expertise: Specialized skills, certifications, and niche expertise that meet market demand.
- Response Time & Availability: Quick responses and flexibility with project timelines.
- Competitive Pricing & Proposal Customization: Setting reasonable rates and submitting tailored proposals that showcase your understanding of clients' needs.
Project Payment Scheme: The payments are to released tentatively as two separated milestones. We estimate that 20 hours of commitment are needed from you during the course of the entire project. Some of these hours will need to be "on-site" in Amman, Irbid or Zarqa. So be sure to be able to comply to this requirement. The payment for the 20 hours commitment will be $500 USD.
