Martwick shop/barn trusses

I’m looking to see what an engineer would say about me either “making/having them made” my own metal truss connectors so I can assemble and build shops with up to 40’ span on site and not have to wait for months to order and get them in, or possible doing it out of metal and using a design I have for them and getting it approved or stamped for further usage.
