Jitter measurements in CDR systems

I want to generate eye diagrams. Also, Evaluating Manchester, NRZ coding schemes to achieve the best performance in terms of BER, so I did Manchester encoder , decoder , clock and data recovery ,and finally injected jitter but how to measure it in eye diagram or how do I know the BER I don't know, so I am looking for help in this part.
