Statistician with Fortran, Excel VBA, R and Python
Budget: £10 – £30 GBP
I am looking for a highly experienced statistician to work with Fortran, Excel VBA, R and a modern programming language (of your choice). This project is quite involved, so it is essential that the specialist I hire has expertise in the mentioned areas. In addition, the project doesn't have a defined timeline, so the freelancer hired should be available to offer as much support and attention to the project as needed.
The Freelance will need to take my old FORTRAN programmes and convert them to a modern language, which will be used to run an Excel Add-In and to work with my web developer to integrate it into a web platform, so we will need both the source code and Executable which can be self-installed on a Windows with the Excel Add-in. The web version will be on a Linux server.
The programmes FORTRAN programmes that need converting are:

CORAN (correspondence Analysis)

ANOVA (2/3/4 way)
MONANOVA
MONAINDEX
DISCRIMINANT ANALYSIS
MD PREF
MD SCAL
Factor Score Extraction
Cluster Allocation
HIierachrical Cluster Analysis.
REGRESSION
CLUMPING
Missing Correlation Analysis
Kaiser Analysis
We will need complete documentation of the software and algorithms.
We also need to use DOE from R libraries to use as a feed into Kiaser (BIBD)
Also, we will need DOE from R libraries. to feed into MONANOVA and MONAINDEX. (Both orthogonal and D-optimal designs). This will be an input Extraction and a feed to the program. This will need to be integrated into Word as a mail merge.
I will set out the order of the programmes to be converted.
I anticipate the process will be:
I will choose the program to be implemented. Then, I will specify the criteria you provide an estimated number of hours for the Excel Addin Element. We agree on a price based on those hours. You provide the code and Executable with any documentation needed to install and use the software, which my team will test and provide feedback on any issues. While we are testing, you write up the algorithm element. Then, I will provide you with the next programme to convert. While programming, my web developer will implement the program on the web, and you will support them with any requirement that they may need. We tend to work in WhatsApp and MS Teams.
