Review Basketball Biography

Looking for someone to read my book and tell me if it "works". This a basketball biography, it contains a lot of sports slang and jargon. Stop right now if you do not know basketball. Not necessary to read every line, it is 300 pages, I am mainly interested in if the "spiritual character" works, of it he is too childish, or weird, or unsuitable or whatever.
