HTML to Microsoft Word Conversion
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I am looking for a freelancer who can convert about 500 HTML files into one or two large Word documents. This would probably be accomplished by writing a script, perhaps in Python, but we can discuss this. These files are from diaryland.com; I've already downloaded them and can send them in a zip file. I also need a small Twitter HTML archive converted to a Word document.
Many of the HTML files include links to photos. I would like the photos to be incorporated into the resulting Word document if possible, or at least links to the photos. We can discuss this.
Skills and experience required for this job include:
- Proficiency in HTML and scripting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, including basic text formatting such as different heading levels, section titles, headers & footers, page numbering, bullet and numbered paragraphs, etc.
- Possibly need proficiency in XHTML; I'm not sure.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate conversion of files.
- Time management skills to meet the project deadline.
