I am seeking a highly experienced and reputable forensic video analyst to review CCTV and video evidence used in a criminal prosecution.
The expert should be able to assess:
• Whether the footage is capable of reliably identifying an individual.
• The quality, integrity, and evidential value of the CCTV footage.
• Height, build, gait, clothing, and vehicle comparisons where relevant.
• Any limitations, inconsistencies, or alternative interpretations within the footage.
• Whether the prosecution’s conclusions are supported by the video evidence.
Applicants must have an established and impeccable professional reputation, with recognized expertise in forensic video analysis. Previous experience providing expert reports for criminal proceedings and appeals is essential. Confidentiality is paramount due to the sensitive nature of this case. No case names or personal details will be disclosed at this stage to ensure impartiality and prevent undue influence.
The successful expert must:
• Be independent and impartial.
• Be willing, if required, to provide evidence in court and give oral testimony in support of their findings.
• Follow the chain of custody for all evidence reviewed.
• Be open to direct instruction from our legal team as needed.
