Forensic Scene Report Writing Tutor

I’m preparing for an upcoming assessment in my crime-scene investigation course and the area that still feels shaky is scene documentation—specifically how to craft the detailed reports that would ultimately accompany a case file or appear in court.

I’d like a tutor who has direct experience writing these narratives in a professional setting. During our sessions I want to:
• walk through the standard structure and terminology of a scene report,
• understand how to describe evidence locations and conditions clearly,
• practice translating field notes and photographs into a concise, chronological narrative, and
• get line-by-line feedback on at least one draft report I will provide.

You can meet with me online, share annotated examples, and mark up my work in real time (Word’s Track Changes or Google Docs is fine). If you routinely follow jurisdiction-specific guidelines—whether U.S. or international—please let me know so I can see how they align with my syllabus before we begin.

I’m ready to start this week and anticipate needing two or three focused sessions, but I’m flexible if we discover I need more time.
