Millet Mixes R&D Experts Needed
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
An upcoming FMCG line of millet ready-to-eat mixes is heading into full product-development mode. The brief is clear: create traditional, authentic recipes that honour regional flavours while meeting modern convenience and safety standards.
Scope of work
• Recipe formulation – translate our concept notes into final formulas that deliver consistent taste, texture, and reconstitution behaviour using millet as the primary grain.
• Nutritional analysis – generate an accurate nutrition facts panel for each SKU, backed by laboratory or software-based calculations that comply with local labelling regulations.
• Shelf-life testing – design and execute accelerated and real-time studies, recommend suitable packaging, and establish clear “best before” dates supported by microbial and sensory data.
Key expectations
• Practical experience in cereal-based RTE products; millet expertise is a bonus.
• Ability to bridge culinary creativity with food-science rigour.
• Regular checkpoints for sample evaluation, iterative tweaks, and final sign-off on lab reports.
Deliverables will be accepted once the recipes meet target organoleptic scores, the nutrition panels align with test results, and shelf-life documentation is audit-ready.
Collaboration can be remote, but lab work and pilot trials must be traceable through shared reports and, where possible, video or photo evidence. Let’s turn wholesome millet into a ready-to-eat success story.
