YandexGO-Style Ride App Development
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m building a ride-hailing app inspired by Yandex Go and want to launch with the core “people-only” service first. The project covers both iOS and Android, so I’m looking for a single codebase approach (Flutter, React Native or similar) or two native builds if you feel that is the better route and can justify the timeline.
The must-have feature set for this first release is clear:
• Real-time location tracking for drivers and passengers, with live map updates and ETA calculations.
• Secure in-app payments supporting major cards from day one.
• A clean ride history screen where users can review past trips, fares, and routes.
• Email-and-password registration/login with standard password reset and verification flows.
Passengers will request a ride, watch their driver’s approach, pay inside the app, and receive a receipt—all without extra services such as food or parcel delivery at this stage.
What I’ll provide:
– Wireframes outlining the basic user journeys.
– Brand assets, color palette, and typography guidelines.
– Access to my preferred payment gateway’s developer account and API keys.
What I expect from you:
– A functioning iOS and Android build ready for TestFlight/Google Play Internal Testing.
– Well-structured, documented source code stored in a shared Git repository.
– Basic admin panel or Firebase console integration so I can view trips and user data.
– Clear handover notes that let my in-house team maintain and scale the app.
Acceptance criteria:
1. A new user can sign up with email, verify, log in, request a ride, track it live, pay, and see the ride listed in history—all without crashes or obvious bugs.
2. Build passes App Store/Play Store guideline checks for location usage and payments.
3. Code compiles consistently from a clean pull on macOS and Windows dev environments.
If you’ve launched similar ride or delivery platforms, I’d love to see a short demo clip or a store link. Feel free to suggest additional best-practice features, but please keep scope realistic for an MVP.
